The filing dates for city offices such as Mayor and Council Member for the City of Blackduck will be July 28, 2020 until August 11, 2020 @ 5pm.

The Blackduck City Council is a governing board of 5 councilors, all whom must reside within the city limits of Blackduck. Currently, the Blackduck City Council has declared a vacancy as a result of Councilor Roth’s recent resignation.
The vacancy will expire December 31st, 2020. If you are a resident of Blackduck and have a strong desire to become involved with your local government, please submit a “letter of interest” to the Blackduck City Council, indicating your willingness to fill the vacancy.
For all offices, candidates must swear that:
1. I am eligible to vote in MN;
2. I am, 21 years of age or more;
3. I maintain residence in the City of Blackduck for at least 30 days
