MORE THAN ONE FAMILY SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE!
In the fall of 2017 Jim was diagnosed with a brain tumor. After the initial surgery, Jim had many complications that landed him back in the hospital. He had blood clots and then a serious infection. He spent many weeks off work and had not returned completely to full time. During this time Jim’s mom had a medical emergency and passed away. Cindy worked tirelessly throughout Jim’s recovery, as a Home Health Aide at Serenity Living Solutions and for Home at Heart Care. She was the President of the Blackduck Chamber of Commerce and also volunteered her “free” time for Relay For Life and the Alzheimer’s Association. On May 2nd, 2018 Cindy was involved in a head on collision. Her vehicle flipped end over end and landed upside down. Cindy was airlifted to Fargo where she began the fight for her life. Cindy lost her battle, and gained her angel wings, May 11, but continued to give by donating her organs. Anyone that knows this couple, and their family, knows that they are among the most compassionate and genuine people you will ever meet.
